Happy Day
It vhas been a while since we had an NJAR meeting.I find it great that the topics now discussed are relatively trivial.The board has really been a success and is the reason for the turn around in NJ.We played after our 2+ hour meeting Afew hardcore players stayed around for some fun matches.The one really strange thing that happened is that I was playing on court 3 and heard a pop,crash type of noise,it came from court 4 which was empty.When I came out of the court one of the panels on court 4 was completely shattered but still intact.TH eowner came in and had to actually break it down with a shovel !After they cleaned that up it was time to go shower and go out to dinner as a group.We had a nice dinner at my friend Fran s place in Bayonne called Amicis.Since it was open bar we all tried to get our monies worth.Everybody cut out a little early about 11 30 but for those of the human species it was a long day.Where is Steve Aquire when you need him .Not many days could be better than a productive meeting with bagels,^ hours of playing racquetball with pizza,And Dinner and drinks with your racquetball family and our spouses.It almost made the work throughout the past year and a half worth it.I would on a personal note thank Jon for snapping his fingers to help me keep focus.Too many AM Monster drinks makes you a little wacky and I was glad I did not get slapped
